Coffee Caddy
| In May 2005, Wessco received a phone call from the VP Purchasing of a major luxury Hotel Group. He said he was aware of our expertise in custom designing a variety of products. He was interested in putting together an in-room coffee program which would encompass a specially-designed electric coffee maker, porcelain cups, coffee packages along with the sugar, creamer, tea bags, etc. Our job was to put these items in a beautiful, wooden box, attractive enough to be something you would find in Neiman Marcus. Our Art Department designed several options. The VP chose one, asked us to make samples and then came to our office in LA in October of 2005 for an all-day meeting to finalize and sign-off on the project. This program became a major part of the Hotel Group's Marketing Plan for 2006. The Coffee Box (or an alternative tray for Hotel Rooms without the space for the Box) is now installed in every one of their rooms and is an extremely successful program. |
